China is a fascinating place, historically and culturally.
And most importantly spring is a delightful season
to make your visit. This tour is a true learning experience of this dynamic
oriental kingdom, which goes as far back as 3000 years. To see and experience
the best of China, we have selected the three most well known cities. Each city
that we selected has its own flavors of interest and World Heritage sites.
In Beijing the famous Great Wall, Tiananmen Square
(where the Mao Zedong Mausoleum is displayed) and the well known Forbidden City
which was the Imperial Palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties are some of the
historical places we visit. You then will fly to Xian, where you will find the
terra cotta warriors and horses, the most famous archeological finding of the
20th century. Your last stop will be in Shanghai, the city that flourished as a
center of trade between
east and
west in the 19th
century. Today Shanghai is the fastest growing city in the world preparing for
the 2010 Expo being held from May 1st to October 31st. China has truly
modernized but while busily building and constructing new facilities to meet
international standards, they have also taken the utmost care to preserve their
ancient historical treasures. We help you make this tour the best China tour you
will ever experience.

Angkor
Wat-April 13 – 18, 2010
We have designed a tour for
you to unveil the ancient city of Angkor. The
word "Angkor" is derived from an
ancient Indian language which means "City". Angkor Wat
is literally translated as "City of Temple" and
Angkor Thom "The Magnificent
City".
The ruins of this ancient city, the capital of the Khmer
Kingdom are one of the manmade wonders of the world and the largest religious
monument ever constructed.
To explore the numerous monuments and temples built
by stones and bricks is a totally overwhelming experience.
Depending on the different times of the day, the
temples reflex a different mystical image because of their geographical
orientation and the angle of the sun.
With each and every step you take, Angkor will
inspire you with the thoughts of its vibrant ancient culture.
Explore
Laos and Bangkok-April 10-18, 2010
The best way to get to Laos is by connecting through Bangkok. Laos is squeezed
between vastly larger neighborhood countries–Vietnam, Thailand, China, Burma and
Cambodia and therefore tends to be forgotten. It’s the only country in South
East Asia that has no ocean border with nearly 70% being rugged mountains with
some plains and plateaus. So why visit? Because this may be the last country to
see the real Indochina. Laos is gradually moving west but is a place to tread
lightly and is an enchanting place to slow your pace to match its own. The
majority of the Laotians practice Buddhism and that fact colors every facet of
life. Temple and stupas dominate a lot of the architecture and you can spot
groups of monks in colorful robes, especially in Luang Prabang where the city
was named a UNESCO World Heritage site. The trip also takes you to the
capital-Vientiane, which is situated on a bend of the
Mekong River, which forms the border with
Thailand. Laos is a beautiful country still very untouched. The country’s charm
is ancient and authentic.
